Are there additional costs when I pay for my paintings by C.O.D. (Cash On Delivery)?

Yes, the shipping charges are slightly more than if you pay by credit card. The difference in charges depends on the destination and number of items that need to be delivered.

The COD charges are clearly displayed during the checkout procedure for easy comparison.

Are there any additional costs when I import paintings and frames into my country?

Beau Artiste will not charge you any additional fees. There are no hidden fees or charges.

However local import taxes and tariffs exist in different countries. These tariffs or taxes vary from country to country and may apply to you.

How can I trace and track my order?

How do I place an order?

To make an order simply navigate through our directory style listings to find the painting of your choice. Alternatively you can use the search functionat the top left corner of each page on the site.

By clicking on the painting of your choice, you will be able to see the details including sizes available and the price. Using the "frame it!" function, you may then select a frame.

Select the desired quantity and click on the Buy button to add this to your shopping cart.

Once you have finished shopping , click on the check out button and follow the steps to complete your order.

What is a canvas stretcher?

A canvas stretcher is the wooden construction used to mount the canvas on in order to stretch the canvas of the oil painting thoroughly. The result is a smooth surface of the oil painting. The stretched painting can thereafter be attached to a 'decorative frame' or hung on the wall without any additional framing.

A canvas stretcher is made out of four wooden bars which are connected at every corner by mortise and tenon joints.

What is a wooden mat?

The wooden mat is an inner frame which is mounted between the frame and the painting. It is one inch or two-and-a-half cm wide, made of white painted wood.

What is your refund policy?

All our paintings and frames sold are not refundable and will only be exchanged if there are material defects or transport damages provided that you inform us within 48hrs of receipt of your order. As each of our paintings are one of a kind, it is possible that you will not be able to choose another that is exactly like your original purchase. However, we will try our best to help you find something that you will enjoy.
